At the end of January we showed you a pretty damn cool cover that artist James White did for Strange Adventures and IDW Publishing’s first issue of The Rocketeer: Hollywood Horror series. Now we get a look at what he has done for issues #2 AND #3 and to be honest, they are just as spectacular.
Above we see his art for The Rocketeer: Hollywood Horror #2, variant cover. The book comes out in March and with the overwhelming support from fans for his first cover, Strange Adventures and IDW have asked James to do variant covers for all 4 issues.
As with issue #1 there will only be about 1000 copies of this issue so they will be pretty hard to come by and go fast. They will only be available at Strange Adventures locations up in Eastern Canada as well as a few select stores in North America. Now before you go getting your tail feathers ruffled James will be getting some that he will sign and sell here on his website. Check back as soon as they hit stands for more info.
I also noticed on his TWITTER feed that James shared an image for issue number 3, seen above. All of these images are begging to be captured in print form and lucky for us, James agrees and is already “working out the numbers to get his first Rocketeer cover screen-printed by the fine folk at Mama’s Sauce. Again, stay tuned to his website for more info on this as well.
If you wish to purchase tees and older prints by James you can do so HERE and HERE. Take a look below at some of the incredible art available and head to the stores for even more awesomeness.
